    Given what I do for a living (I’m a presentation skills trainer) you’d expect me to agree with the sentiment, and I do!

    I’m constantly amazed at the number of people in business who’d rather miss out on promotions – or even on employment – than risk doing presentations. They refuse free training even(!) in case it means they’ve got to stand up and speak… but in today’s world that’s not just ‘career limiting’ it’s actually ‘employment limiting’.
