Jazz up your Social Networking profile
Written by Author on November 19th, 2008Ok so you want to jazz up your social networking site, most people do as the default ones are obviously really boring. Well the way to do this is edit your profile and add cute backgrounds.
The great thing about cute backgrounds is they are freely available all over the internet. All you have to do is enter the keyword into google or your preferred search engine and lots of great sites will appear.
There are lots of different types of cute backgrounds as well so there is always something for everyones tastes. i’ve seen some really good wallpapers that include sparkly stars, pink hearts, trendy modern hand written style and even cool sparkle backgrounds.
You can even on some sites input your name or any text you like and it will give you all the code to just paste into your profile. Often these will be animated as well so the glitter really sparkles.
Some sites provide the code for you to paste into your social networking profile but others don’t. Usually the etiqueete is if the site doesn’t provide the code then you must download the background you are interested in and host the image yourself on your own server. Other wise you might be viewed as ‘Hot Linking’. Many website owners don’t like this and some even go to the trouble of blocking you so that you would actually get an error instead of a lovely cute background, or even worse, you would get a picture that says No Hot Linking to this site. Not what you really want on your profile!
