Since the launch of discount airlines our society has seen them become commonplace whether traveling to foreign countries or within the domestic boarders of our country.
Easy jet airways is an airline company that has grown in size and now offers destinations within many European countries flying out of London Luton Airport. It wasn’t long ago that traveling regularly from the United Kingdom to France saw low-cost airlines in business the local East Midlands Airport. Since its inception many have decided to sample their service and flew with BMI Baby. British midland international is a major player in cross border travel throughout Europe, however, BMI Baby that flew into Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris was very convenient even as bare bones or low service.

The entire flight took about an hour and was convenient in that it left my Airport at about 4:00 PM local time placing the travelers in Paris at around 6:00 PM. BMI Baby got many a traveler through many journeys over the months. In an effort to win loyal customers BMI Baby launched with ridiculously low prices to the point that they ended up offering seats for a zero dollars. The passing your date has to pay the taxes owed to the government and Airport costs that the seat aboard the airliner did really cost nothing.

 And so, for our return there of fifty or sixty British pounds the traveler made their way back and forth between the United Kingdom and France. One might ask how exactly BMI actually made any money from their flights. Unlike in North America where discount airlines where nothing more than flying buses the service level on BMI baby was always great.

Anyone who flew with BMI baby certainly took note that there were no frills, but had a fan of which would more than courteous and food and drink where always available even on short flights. It helped greatly that the aircraft are always on time too! A short time ago BMI Baby ceased operations from East Midlands to Paris. There Parent Company British midland international assumed of the service and the prices for this transport service escalated beyond belief.

It seemed as soon as BMI baby ceased flying many customers ceased using the service. They expressed a disappointment because they had always enjoyed the service with BMI baby and the price didn’t hurt their bank account either. Many of the former BMI baby customers have found alternate ways to make their journey between the United Kingdom and France. However, they miss the ridiculous low prices and all indicated that if BMI baby decided to resume service they would be tempted to return two! Bon voyage!
