If you are in a network marketing opportunity, when you look to get prospects who wish to make money from home, there is only one group of prospects you should ever focus on. Targeting your focus to prospects who are looking to make money from a work at home opportunity. Pursue anyone else or even you friends and family you’ll be going down a long and frustrating road to no success. The end result could also very well be your quitting for good or go chase the next shiny opportunity in which you will be right back where you began with this opportunity.

Even with those who desire to work from home, targeted marketing is still essential. This is because there three categories of people in the make money from home arena. They are:

1. Those who have experience in network marketing.
2. Those who have understanding in internet marketing.
2. Those who don’t.

The question is how do you target group number one? I know of many network marketing people that have a website but really never target there prospects from the internet. They do it in a more local fashion. The second group who do more marketing on the internet are much more inclined to look at what you have to offer. One of the best ways to get thier attention is to give something away. For example, some network marketing reps give away a free ebook by Prosperity Rising on a quick start guide on network marketing. This specific book is for network marketers who are irritated and not succeeding. There is no having to explain the business as they already comprehend the concept. They get it and don’t have to be sold. Now much of my internet marketing this ebook works well to give away as well, but I like to give internet marketers “Free Website Traffic” this is something all of them can use since they already have a business that there in and believe me they are always looking for ways to generate more leads. You might find a unique way to build your lead list. Other examples might include giving away a free ecourse, free newsletter, a free report that you have written, etc.

The bottom line is that group number one and two is just more targeted. This in turn makes it easier for you to create a continuous funnel of prospects which could in time build you a nice downline. The internet has so many new internt and network marketers coming on board each week it makes it a easy way to focus and target prospects for your opportunity. It just makes sense to target that group. When people give away any resource that resonates with others in network or internet marketing, and they can relate to what the author is saying, it develops into a great leads prospecting tool because people will want to contact you for more details.

Always remember that to build great passive income, you need to create a stable stream of hot prospects. This is why it just makes more sense to build a list of those who already believe in network marketing (group #1) or internet marketing (group#2) are looking for an opportunity. Your business will grow and you’ll be a internet marketing or network marketing success story.
