Positioning Facebook marketing, in your MLM marketing strategies, can create a constant flow of targeted, free mlm leads. Implementing it effectively can turn those leads into profitable or new distributors quickly. In fact, if you’re not using it, personally, you are missing a tremendous opportunity.

Currently, Facebook is ranked as the 2nd most visited website on the Internet, just behind Google. It’s the hottest social networking location in the world. So, it would be wise for you to have some sort of presence on it if you desire to increase your MLM success. What I would like to do is show you how I use Facebook and direct you to some powerful resources that will help you with your Facebook Marketing efforts.

First: Here Is What Doesn’t Work

Most marketers focus on adding a lot of friends so they can advertise their business opportunity to them. They want to tell you about their once in a lifetime opportunity or unbelievable compensation plan. This seldom works, yet people do this over and over again. This is definitely spamming and really bugs most people. If you’re being advised to bombard potential prospects with your business opportunity, as one of your MLM marketing strategies, please stop. There are more profitable ways.

Second: Effective Facebook Marketing

Facebook is a social networking website. So how can you use it profitably in your MLM marketing strategies? Think about it, social networking sites are intended for people to connect with other people. You can use it to get to know new people in your particular market. You can use it to develop relationships by getting to know them and sharing valuable ideas with them. When adding friends, you can focus on adding friends from groups affiliated with MLM or network marketing. Connect with them, discuss how they’re doing, and share ideas with them. They will eventually ask you about your opportunity or ask you how they can do business with you.

Third: An Effective, Rarely Used Idea

Here is an idea one of my mentors gave me. Implementing it has doubled my results. But, before I go any further, I need to tell you that Facebook isn’t one of my main MLM marketing strategies. I use it to connect with people who visit my blog and request my free training offer. When somebody shares their email address with me, I try to find them on Facebook. If they have an account, I connect with them saying hello. This simple little idea moves our relationship to a higher level. And remember, people do business with people they like and trust. In addition, I’ll open and reply to personal messages people send me. This takes so little time and really works well. Use these ideas in your business and let me know what happens.

We are in a highly competitive marketplace and yet, so few business people invest the time to get to know their prospects and customers. Think about what would happen in your business if one of your MLM marketing strategies was to connect with you customers. If you invested your time to get to know them a bit. If you were to find out what they do, what problems they’re having, and what their dreams are. If you were to share with them valuable ideas that help them.
