The Internet For Network Marketers– Friend Or Foe?

Written by Me MLM-er on September 18th, 2009

Things are going so quick in network marketing because of the internet these days.

Let’s take a quick look at some of the things that are happening at the moment:

The Social Networking Phenomenon:

In merely a few years, the website FaceBook has caused more traffic than most other huge businesses combined. The rise of their popularity is staggering and the estimated worth of the network is likely in the BILLIONS.

What are network marketers doing? They are out there making a lots of cash with Facebook these days.

Masses Voting for New Government

Obama pre-election saw something NEVER previously seen by a political party in the USA: the funding, political muscle and mass media support, totally turned the tides of the general elections by using a operation fueled by Blogs, YouTube, Email.

What are network marketers doing? Turning to blogs, email marketing, viral marketing, social networking and several others to create continual leads and cash flow into their network marketing businesses!

The New Corporate Direction

Today, many big corporations are turning to the Internet to generate traffic and ‘touch base’ with their clients and prospects. A lot of companies have allocated enormous marketing budgets to streamline their web presence and brand themselves by means of newsletters and blogs!

What are network marketing companies doing? They are using videos, podcasts, webinars and any automatization you can possibly think of, to bring their businesses up to speed with what’s happening in the internet industry!

SPEED is the name of the business today.

So here goes the question for you:

Is the Internet a friend or a foe to YOU?

PASSIVE EARNINGS: HOW SOON AND HOW FAST

For the most part network marketing reps who use old school dinosaur methods like writing a name list of their acquaintances are calling dead beat leads and are fishing without a bait.

When it comes to modern prospecting, that’s not time effective any longer.

Granted, it used to be the best method of doing things. No any more.

In reality, there are lots of network marketers- think thousands – creating their company on the Internet and generating thousands of dollars literally on automatic!

How? Putting in practice the newest on multilevel marketing recruiting methods, that’s how.

For those of us who have lived around network marketing, we know passive income is doable. The only thing that remains today is HOW QUICKLY can someone create passive income using the Internet.

It’s a race where your personal finances – not all things are free of charge on the internet – and your desire for greater speed (more recruits in less time) have to balance.

If you don’t go in that direction, not only would you lose the chance to generate those leads, the Internet will start to work against you and your network marketing business.

And it will turn into your maximum enemy.

That I’ve watched myself. Old timers nearly screaming in despair for slow moving mlm genealogy trees that insisted in the old way of doing network marketing.

Sharing your product face-to-face is also losing its force as persons will know all they like to know about a network marketing product with one click of a button as they search Google and Yahoo and Wikipedia. Individuals can even look at a product demonstration on YouTube! So you will be wasting a lot of time if your only source of prospecting is by approaching your friends and relatives to conduct home parties.

Listen: if you don’t have a decent way to prove to your downlines that they can duplicatewhat you are doing, then they will not follow you in the long run.

Period.

At the end of the day, you either go with the internet flow or lag behind when every person else is moving forward.

All I’m saying is, if you are not learning how to make the Internet your friend, the Internet will definitely work against your network marketing company so it’s time to get connected and go high-tech!
