My MLM Dream Team

It is important if you want success in MLM team building, you must understand the nature of the Network Marketing business. MLM or Network Marketing is very different than most businesses out there. It is built with a team, but made up of individuals driven to succeed. It is highly dependent on relationships and good leadership skills.

Network Marketing team building is not the same as a typical business. In most business, it is based on boss to employee working relationships that drive business forward. In traditional business there is no need for a boss to be a great leader; he/she must just be good at organizing and assigning tasks, and checking to see if they are done on time and correctly.

Not so with MLM, here there is no boss and no employees. This forms a powerful organization of commented individuals that want to work. They do not have to take orders from a Upline trainer. This makes the relationship and the leadership in Network Marketing much more important. People will not follow someone who is selfish, arrogant, likes to pressure others, rude, the list goes on and on. No, leaders in MLM must be compassionate towards their team. They truly must have the teams and the team’s individuals at heart.

This forms a bond not present other business. These relationships form the backbone of any good MLM organization. This is far harder to achieve than just ordering some employee to a task or they could lose their job. So in Network Marketing people are free, free to succeed or free to fail. And the choice is theirs.

Look at any decent MLM program and you will find succeeding people there. This means the program works, and it can work for anyone willing to put in the time and effort to succeed. Along with great Upline counsel, this makes for a great winning combo.

Here is where most business minded MLM builders get in trouble. They approach Network Marketing Team building as if it is like a traditional business. They think their team is there private work force to order around and command like they are some General in an army. Yet the mistake that is made here is people are Network Marketing independent distributors. They do not have to take orders from anyone if they do not want to.
Leadership comes into play in a big way. Learning to instruct others on how they can better their lives by making others lives better is key. Zig Ziglar says it so well, “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.” This sums up the true essence of Network Marketing, if you go out with an overwhelming desire to improve others lives, you will naturally win yourself.

When you consider building your Network Marketing Team, look at it from the other persons point of view and be a servant leader, the rewards can be amazing.
