If they understood the marketing plan, maybe that helped them in their decision as well. Most people never really have an idea of how to actually market that service and or opportunity. They are usually told that the family and friends model will be successful, and will provide enough “people to talk to” that it will be a long term marketing strategy.

For most Mlm’ers, it’s just not a viable long term strategy. Mlm’ers need a lead generation machine.

With a failure rate of 97% in the MLM business as a whole, it makes sense that much of your upline doesn’t understand marketing either. If they have successful, then maybe there are certain conceptsabout their business that they are unwilling to share.
When a new prospect decides to join a new MLM company or program, rarely is the long term marketing strategy discussed in any detail. It’s impossible to know what you do not know. The company may be one of the best companies ever, but unless you have a long term marketing strategy, you will have limited success.

2. Not fully committed

New prospects are not informed of the marketing side of the business. They are not aware of the effort , time and money that it may take to get their opportunity successful using the internet. They like the opportunity and/or products itself, without fully realizing HOW the opportunityis going to be marketed. After further research and discovery they start to realize that to be successful in online marketing, it is actually going to take a new education, time, effort, and probably a few bucks to get started.

This is where the rubber meats the road. Many were never told what it would really take to build their business online. They were just told how great the opportunity is and how tremendous their product is and that they could be involved

Many MLM ‘ers never end up creating their own Mlm leads, and they fail. They were never taught, they never knew the committment that it would take.

3. Most strugglebecause they don’t have the needed skills and/or resources

To build a successful online business regardless of the product or service that you are selling you will need new skills and abilities. There are two options that people must decided when they realize that they don’t have everything that they need.
