MLM lead creation is the single most important thing that I have ever done in my MLM business.

I am what I would consider an “medium” skilled internet marketer. I had had some success with one of my MLM companies some time ago.

When I lost that mlm lead source, I lost that ability to grow my business.

I went through an evolutionary cycle that seems to be pretty common.

I wanted to share with you the cycle as I see it, and how you can expedite your process through that same cycle. We want to have as many MLM leads for our opportunity as we want. If we can figure how to create the leads… then the other skills will come naturally. We don’t need to learn everything about MLM, we just need to learn how to generate MLM leads… Here is where I went wrong…

1. I had the sales cycle upside down.

I was thinking that the systemwas going to “sell itself”.. This was the biggest mistake in my thinking. I thought that if I was just able to tell and sell my opportunity enough, then enough people would sign up to really get it worthwhile.

The probem was not with the company I was with… The problem was that I did not “add value” to the company. There was nothing special about me that would cause anyone to join with me, instead of with another person. Why would they want to join with me? Because I was pestering them to join would be the reason? Anyone that joined because I pestered them so much wasn’t a very good canidate in the first place.

We had to make the experience more personal. There had to be a reason why people would join with me… not the company.

2. I learned to turn the marketing cycle “right side up”.

Another main thing that I was doing wrong was I was “pushing” myself, my company, and the products. When I say pushing I mean being obknoxsious, talking about my productswith every breath, spending all my time trying to get people to join, and basically being a pest… both in the real world, and online. I thought that just by putting my “link” everywhere possible online, this wousl grow my business. Wrong answer…

(As a side note… don’t every just post your links all over the place.on facebook, myspace sites… That creates no value…… If you have something that is unique and valueable that you created…, people like that..)

The online top earning guys were “attracting” people because they were Experts I liked that idea. Instead of “pushing” ( or sometimes called “puking”) there opportunity onto people, people were actually seeking them out wanting to work with them.

This would totally change the way I did business online.

3. Attraction Marketing

Then I started to Study a concept by Mike Dillard called Attraction Marketing. This was totally foriegn to me andat first and I didn’t “get it” The basic premise was that if you could show yourself as an expert or a leader in a particular field then people would want to be around you and would want to work with you.

How would I become a leader?… How could I show that I was an expert? What was the process by which I could do this online?

4. Article and content Marketing… The broke way to grow your business.

I realized that it was just learning enough about a particular subject to be able to give some good value or content to people who may happen to see the information online. For example… I know a little about content marketing, and MLM leads, that is why you’re reading this article right now!

It took me a while to feel like I had enough knowledge to share with others… The fact of the matter is just about everyone is knowledgeable about some to topic or another. Usually we like to talk about the things that we in love and know about..

By creating good content, I could share valuable information. This in turn, creates a a relationship with my readers. This is the first step to working together and growing my business,while I help plenty of others grow theirs.

This “model” works for everyone all the time… All you have to do is implement it..
